Quick Answers:

What's the catch? Is it really free?

Yes, really! You keep the Hypercom T4220 dual comm terminal as long as you process with us. Should you ever terminate your relationship with us, you have 10 days to return the equipment. We pay for the shipping both ways. There is no sign up fee, no annual fee, no purchase or rental or lease.

What exactly is 'dual comm'? Do I need to provide a cable?

“Dual comm” means you have the choice between two connection types: traditional land-line phone line or internet ethernet connection. The free Hypercom T4220 dual comm terminal works well in either format. The ethernet connection is slightly faster, and doesn’t depend on a phone line. If you use the ethernet option, you’ll need to provide an ethernet cable to connect the terminal to your ethernet hub. Consult your internet provider for more information about this.

Which credit cards will I be authorized to accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

Can I process debit cards, check cards, and EBT?

Yes. The free Hypercom M4230 wireless terminal has an internal pin pad that allows customers to enter their PIN number. You’ll be able to accept any PIN-based debit card, check card, or EBT card.

How soon can I have the machine in my hands?

You can receive the terminal fully programmed and ready to plug and play within 2 to 3 business days.
